Explosion of Glue, Paint, and Coloured Wax Detected!

Owairaka's Art Exhibition was a great success! So many innovative and expressive pieces and all so diverse in materials and techiniques.

Room 17's collaborative art was an abstract painting with no particular meaning beyond "rainbow cornucopia", though there were many other interpretations.

Navala wrote of his experience:

The whole of owairaka made art for the exhibition. It was cool. I saw my little brother's rocket. It looked brilliant. He put fire down the bottom to look like it's going to blast off and his class art looked good. I tried to look for my older brother's one but i couldn't find it. When I looked around properly with my blind eye, I found it. It looked good. Then we went back to class.

Here are some samples in case you didn't manage to see this spectacle.

  1. Well done Room 17! You can all be super proud of the art you displayed in the hall. I heard a lot of positive comments about your canvas - the colours were amazing!
