It was Cross country today! “Yay!” shouted some kids in my class. We went outside, and then Mr Faulder shouted “Go!” and then we were off. My heart started beating as sweat dripped down my forehead. Then I came past Mr G (our awesome teacher) and as I sped past, he said that I was 5th place. Finally I could see the finish line, and I got 5th place.

It was cross country and everyone shot off like the wind. I could barely catch up. I felt like there were 1000 people around me when I was running. I saw everyone calling, “Let's go,  Navala, let’s go!” It sounded horrible. My body felt like stone when I had to walk up those steep steep stairs. I heard people yelling, “Go go go go go go!” to their friends.
