Gigantic Splash observed in Earth Swimming Pool!

Yesterday morning at 9:30 the Puriri team went to the pool. We  were cheering for the other team which was group 1. Group 2 had to get  the pool after morning tea. After morning tea  group 1 got out of the pool and group 2 had to get in the pool. We took turns for classes.

Yesterday was the Pupuhi Nui. There were floaters and non-floaters but I was one of the non-floaters. It was a fun and fantastic day.

Yesterday we went to the pool with room 19,16, and 18 for the Pupuhi nui. Before we lined up, Mr Greenfield put numbers on our hand for the people that was swimming. When we got there the people, that weren't swimming had to go sit down in the shade and cheer for the people that were swimming.

I like normal swimming.

We liked the Pupuhi Nui because people were cheering on their friends. We liked it because people tried their best. We liked it because people were having fun.

Yesterday we had a special swimming carnival. The first group was number 1's. I thought all of Puriri were good. After morning tea, it was the 2's turn. At the beginning. I could hardly breath for 1 minute.

The Pupuhinui swim was awesome. It was so fun. There were 4 challenges. The more challenges I did, the colder I got. It was very difficult after that it was free time yaaaaaay going under water was so cool. I played tag and lots of cool games, too, but after it was time up, I was sad. Next year I will do it again.

Yesterday, Puriri went to the pool at 9.30 for the Pupuhi Nui. There were two groups. There were the non floaters and the floaters. I was in the floaters but the non floaters went first, which means the floaters have to cheer on the the non floaters. The teachers normally have two bits of wood and clap it together. Miss Hoffman was doing it and she let me do it for my friends. My favorite type of swimming was duck diving.

YESTERDAY, for the Big Splash, there were two teams for it. Team 1 went first and then team 2 went second. We learned a lot from it. It was fun.
