Here are some comments by the mountain-scaling students.
My day on the mountain was awesome. We got to make tents, play softball, and go up the mountain and we got to go to the top of it, too.

Today at 9:00, we went to Owairaka Mountain. First, we started with Paul (teacher). We did a blindfold game. We tried to follow the rope and make sure that we didn’t fall down.

Today we did NO Maths, Reading .etc. Instead we went up the mountain. First we went on a blindfold game. We had to follow the ropes. We had looootttsss of fun!

The Trip to Owairaka
It was a sunny day in Owairaka, so we went up the Owai maunga. First we did a Burma trail. After that we went to the top of the mountain. We did sport games too. It was so fun! Mountains are sooooo fun!

Up the Mountain for my Birthday
Today I went up the Owairaka Maunga for school. We did activities and games. My first favourite game was climbing the steep hill we did that with Mr Faulder. My second one is… Setting up the tents.
