Welcome to Term 2: The Pattern Project is Open!

 After a mammoth effort by Sara Hughes, and the students of Owairaka, our fabulous Pattern Project is open!

What a way to mark the start of Term 2! This is a year of design, planning, and painting - lots of painting! The junior court and school gateway have never looked better. 

Next time you come to Owairaka, try going through our gate to soak up the brilliant colours of around 20 different cultures.

    Thanks for all your work on the Pattern Project rm 25. This is a collaborative artwork, I needed help on the ideas, composition, base colours and the top colours so where ever you helped was important. I am so proud of you all and what we achieved together. Have fun finding new bits over time, it has lots of details to discover.
