In particular, welcome to the new students, parents and caregivers of Room 17 or Rลซma Tekau mฤ Whitu. We have a great spot here with lots of light, fresh air and a beautiful backyard right through the window.
Our theme for this year, across the school, is "Making the World a Better Place". We will be investigating ways in which students, staff and families can contribute to making our environmental, social and learning worlds even better than they are.
For the first couple of weeks, a social focus will be the importance and correct use of manners. So, thank you for reading our blog and I hope you will enjoy watching and being involved in our learning journey through the year.
