Room 25 has been exploring the class novel Parvana through drama. Drama is a creative way to explore texts, issues, and the human side of life.
Here we recreated a market in Kabul where marketeers hawked their wares - first they fantasised about what kind of goods they would like to peddle if they had a choice, then we explored the emotional impact of having to run a market to sell the things that are precious to you just so you could eat for another day (a theme present in the novel Parvana).
