Philosophy Ponder 9

One day, the children of today (that's you) will inherit the world and decide the future of the planet.

The leaders of the world can't wait that long! They turn to you - a kind and conscientious student of ลŒwairaka - to help make the world a better place.

 They ask you:

(Don't forget to say WHY you think your rule is a good one. Is it good for the whole world or just you?)

  1. Kia ora room 7. Wow, this is a big one! I can't wait to read all your thoughtful answers. I think I might go for everyone has to be 100% honest. Think how many arguments there WOULDN'T be. We wouldn't have to worry about who to believe in the media and we could focus on all the positive things happening in the world.

    1. That's a lovely idea. We would need to find different ways of doing things! I wonder what supermarkets would look like - could you even have them? E noho ra.

    1. Oh dear! It certainly would make the world more peaceful. I guess the trouble is in the phrase "had to follow" - I wonder how we would make everyone follow any of these rules! E noho ra.

  6. Kia ora MR G my rule would probably be that you would have to be environmentally friendly so like you couldn't litter or otherwise you would have to pay a fine of 500 dollars and Company's would have to have all electric machines.

    1. Oh, yeah? I know some countries have fines for littering. We may have to say goodbye to some of our favourite things - like electronics - because they create a lot of waste in the world. People may have to keep the same phone for years, not months! Great idea, Luka. E noho ra.
