Philosophy Ponder 10

This week's ponder needs a lot of thought... the gift may not be something you can hold or buy.

Also, you have the opportunity to change the world here. It's an important responsibility!

Remember that not every child in the world has food, shelter, or even electricity.

No point having an X-Box if you can't plug it in...

Don't neglect to tell us WHY this gift is important.

  1. Kia ora Mr G today's ponder was a really had one. I think the gift that I would give would be education because in some country's kids have to work in factory's and don't get the chance to learn the basic skills reading writing and maths. what would you give if you could answer today's question.
    Blog ya later.

  2. Kia ora Room 25. I agree with Luka, this is tricky. I like his idea of education but I might go for the gift of being heard as a lot of people say things like, "but they're only children, they don't know what they're saying," etc.

Education is a good one but I would give everyone a chance or give a gift of what they want and need.

  4. Kia ora Mr G, this is super hard, I would probably choose the gift of everyone having vituals (food and drink), all the kids have enough oxygen and stuf so this is definitly the bet option. Blog you later!

  5. I'm glad no one has said "the gift of oblivion!"
(Don't worry people outside Kauri team who might be reading this - it's a class novel reference)
Education is a very thoughtful idea as it is something that stays with you and might help you to make your own food, shelter, and clothing - and be able to teach others.
I don't know how I would do it, but I think I would give them the gift of "freedom from mistreatment" - so many problems in the world are caused by adults who were mistreated as children.
