Let's get this started!
ReplyDeleteWhich culture do I connect with? Easy! The one I grew up with: NZ European culture.
I often hear from people that NZ Europeans don't have a culture. Not true! We in NZ have our own kinds of food, music, fashion, and ways of "being" in society. It's also not just English culture, but our own unique take on life in the Antipodes.
In NZ, we say "Hello" by saying... "Hello", or "G'day", or "Kia ora", or "How's it?" as well as many other ways.
As far as languages to learn: I am interested in German because it has a unique sound. But I would also like to master Te Reo Maori and... Javascript (a computer code).
How about you?
German
ReplyDeleteHallo/Guten Tag
Latin because my cousin is learning it.
Jasmine
Thanks, Jasmine. Latin is an interesting choice because it is only really used in places like churches for prayers and rituals. However, many languages have Latin root words, so it might make learning other languages a bit easier!
